Jason Gillette

Jason Gillette has dedicated his career to serving. From his experiences in the United States Marines overseas, years in sales, health coaching, and public health; Jason now aims to serve in different capacities.

 

After starting his Public Health firm, Jason serves communities across the country addressing healthcare and Public Health concerns. His current efforts are in substance use prevention, community inclusion, health emergent planning and veteran health improvement.

 

Jason hosts a podcast called, I Just Want To Talk and is part of REAP an African American men’s philanthropic giving circle committed to improving outcomes in communities of color in Phoenix. Jason also sits on ASU’s Southwest Interdisciplinary Research board, and the Arizona Playworks board, and sat on Mayo Clinic’s Community Advisory board and the Arizona Public Health Association board for four years.

Julie Augeri
Emergency Manager

Julie’s experience includes assignments with increasing levels of responsibility for intelligence, operations, and emergency response while serving for 29 years as a U.S. Army officer. She worked as an Emergency Response and Continuity of Operations Planner for the Department of Homeland Security and was appointed as the Emergency Preparedness Administrator for the Arizona Department of Corrections. Julie served as the State of Arizona Recovery Branch Manager, continuing her work locally with Coconino County as the Adult Probation Emergency Planner and as the Public Health District Emergency Program Manager.

 

In the private sector, Julie has served as a Statewide Operations/Central Region Manager for the Arizona Coalition for Healthcare Emergency Response and has recently provided support to agencies preparing for pandemic response.

 

Julie has attended multifarious functional and senior leadership trainings with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. She has served as a Continuity of Operations Program Manager and on real-world Incident Command Teams. Julie taught Emergency Planning and Continuity of Operations for Northern Arizona University. She has developed Emergency Preparedness programs and trained response and recovery teams throughout her career.
